The Tale of the Rift is a choice-driven narrative game created within RichCast. It follows Morana, a young peasant woman caught up in a divine war after her younger brother was wrongfully executed.

As Morana stands in the face of death, she is saved by a dark god who offers her power beyond her comprehension, so that she can enact her vengeance - but at a great cost.

 

With multiple endings, the player has to decide if they should cast aside their morals for the chance to avenge her brother, or take their fate into their own hands, realising their grief is being weaponised, and instead use their newfound power for good.
